Just "bumping" the question I put regarding the chin (front) spoiler.
Anybody has an idea of the reason why the HD front spolier won't fit ABS equipped BO? I guess there's a problem on the upper part of the spoiler where is bolted to the frame and maybe interferes with ABS Unit. I'd normally pull the trigger and buy the part and try to fit it but since it's not a cheap part I'd prefer not to waste money and time on it if the issue can't be solved.
i cant really fathom anyone lowering a breakout. air ride, i get. id love to slam this baby on occasion. but im already taking off layers of peg and shoe at STOCK height. lowering it would just defeat the purpose of owning a bike at that point (in my eyes).... why not just get a trike?
but i digress......
Anyone that bought this bike expecting to be able to corner well etc is definitely going to be thinking what did I do. But this bike just exudes attitude and lowering it makes it look very mean and full of attitude. This has about as much lean with that 240 and width and my pegs as my Lo which they say was 24 degrees or something like that, felt like 5 compared to my other bikes lol
But having an air, rather than just links/blocks to lower, for me is the way to go, just in case I need to ride and take a fat girl home or something?? lol
Plus with air the control is right at your fingertips. Want that slammed look for cruising the streets? Need to raise it way up for lots of clearance while riding the twisties? All doable in about 10 seconds or less from what I understand. SS is on my 'definite going to do when I can gather that much money at one time' list lol

Yep, that will be a next year project for me as well. I spent enough $$ this year on engine mods.. This year I'll just have to suffer with a 1.5" lowering spacer.
The Shotgun is much more popular here, and the guy that makes them is on the forum answering questions day and night. That is why I chose them over other brands of air ride.
