does anyone know a good website to find contrast cut levers (brake & clutch) I've looked at harley, RSD
Be careful with the RSD, as I got the adjustable ones that are bent (Regulators I think they are called) and you cant adjust them because of the bend...the bend will hit your grip and you cant fully engage clutch or brake...kind of defeated the purpose of having that adjust-ability...
I got the same RSD levers and found one way to fix the problem of the lever hitting the grip and not being able to fully engage/disengage the clutch is to adjust your clutch throw in the primary. But, this is not very practical for on the go adjustments.
Hence why I said good Idea with the spacers. And then I said it can not be done with the stock set up. Then you said "except it will". But, it can not.
My bad, thought you were just talking about stock bars. Looks beter without lift anyways imho.
Just added a new headlight housing, danny gray seat, and a couple of chrome accents. Shotgun will be here tomorrow so hope to have that on soon as well.
I would like to say a quick thanks to all of the contributors to this thread so far. I have just finished reading all 62 pages of information about the Breakout and have learned a lot about the bike.
Now I have to wait an agonising 4 weeks until I take delivery of my 1st ever Harley. I have just ordered a 2014 Black Breakout with a few extras.
