Anyone have a vid or pics of someone adjusting the rear suspension on the 2016-2017 cvo breakout? Do you need a lift or can it be done on the kick stand?

You need a lift. In theory, it should be doable without one, but the low ground clearance for turning a wrench, and the utter inability to see what you are doing, are showstoppers without a lift.
The 2018 model with the underseat ****-adjustable single-cylinder suspension fixes that limitation. That is a MAJOR plus if you sometimes carry a passenger or go touring with some luggage on the back.
Thank you sir, in the manual it looked like you could do it on the kickstand and it even states to do it that way, but looking at it I don't see it happening

yeah, again in theory, if you used maybe a mirror laying on the driveway below the bike, and did not get too frustrated turning a wrench of sufficient length to have the required leverage just a few degrees at a time, you could do it, but I found I could not . . .
i saw the fuel tank on the new 2018 Breakout - it is ugly and looked really cheap ... and the paint job on the 2018 bikes are geared towards men and men who like matt colors !!!!

I can't say any of the 18's really caught my eye, I'm glad I got my 17 when I did!
I just ordered 16 in. Fat Ape Handlebar Kit with Riser-55857-10B for my 2013 BO
Can someone help me out with part# for cables/wires?
You guys think the 2018 Speedometer will fit?
thanks
I have looked at quite a few of these bikes extensively. It appears that the wire for the speedo runs straight through the handle bar, which means you will have to cut a knockout on the opposing side of the bar to pass the wire through. The BCM from my understanding is what stores the mileage, so there should be no issue there either. You may want to part reference the plug to see if they match up. Maybe even get your hands on a service manual to trace the plug wires. The plugs can be repinned if need be as long as every control is still there. I would say it is possible, but you will def want to do some research (I'm sure that speedo set up has a pretty penny attached to it). I personally am looking at the speedo from the 18 fatbob to see if I can use that.
Did some more research and the digital handlebar gauge should be doable. Pre '18 speedo uses a 12 pin plug with only 5 wires going into it and the '18 speedo uses a 6 pin plug also with only 5 wires. Because these bikes are both BCM the speedos need no programming to work (just plug them in). The only thing left for you to do is to view a '18 service manual to repin the 6 pin plug correctly. Oh, and a bunch of parts of course.
Total $361.41 for this project. Harley dealer prices may vary depending on your dealer. Hope this helps.
As far as my preference of using the fatbob gauge. They are both using 12 pin plugs with 5 wires, just need to make sure they are pinned the same.
