I see what you mean now. In the pic it does look different but they are the same. Must have been the way the light shines off of it when I took the pic. Only difference is I put different bolts in. Wanted black because the chrome ones didn't look right.
I’ve had these Bassani pipes for the past 3 years and almost immediately they began to rust and pit from the moment I bought them. I do live a few blocks from the ocean, but none of my other stuff rusts as quick as this exhaust. They were flat black from Bassani, so I figured I’d do something a little more custom looking.
Behold, Glacier Black heat shields and Tungsten for the exhaust. Subtle, but different nonetheless.

The bars look great. I did mine 2 years ago and love it but I didn’t like the tall stock riser with the big bars. It looked odd.
I purchased some Fat Boy risers and mounted them. Since they’re low the Speedo wouldn’t clear the tanks so I mounted them backwards and the fit perfectly.
also when you look at my bike from the side with the front wheel facing forward, the bars and the fork tubes are in a straight line. Sweet.

Bike seems to be much more responsive with the 12" bars over the stock straight bar... Its easier on the back as well...
I just thought I'd share my stage 1 set-up in case anyone was looking for ideas or wondering what it would look like.
I went with an Arlen Ness Monster Sucker and Vance & Hines Big Radius.
And as for the bars, I went with the HD Reach bars (longer cables were required)
Oh, and engine guard by Lindby Customs
I think the only other pricey mod I'll do is add new wheels. I'm thinking of going with the Performance Machine Virtue Wheels (Contrast Cut)
