$80 plus shipping.

I just installed a black, Blackline console on my BO. They should have came like that. Pricey but money well spent IMO.

Done for the time being. The change to the rear end has been quite profound aesthetically and is now neat and tidy.

Before with 260 tyre already fitted.

Now.

Got rid of the OEM front indicators.

Fitted a set of these from Thunderbike.

Needed to fit a load equaliser containing two 25 watt resistors to keep the canbus balanced, and that was the difficult bit for me. As you may notice all my wiring is tucked away within the handlebars so I needed to get access to the front indicator electrical connectors that are under the fuel tank. As luck would have it by unbolting the fuel tank I was able to move it far enough backwards to see and undo the connectors I needed with a long flat blade screwdriver and a bright torch. Fitting and splicing the indicators about an hour and a half. Add another four hours plus for the load equaliser. On a bike where the wiring is accessible at the headstock about another hour to do by my reckoning.

They are way better,

I have them to on my Breakout but did not install a resistor since it was not needed. The only thing that happens without the resistor is that the indicator warning light in the dash blinks a bit faster but it does not affect the blinking speed from the indicators themself. Maybe beacuse my bike is a Euro version and allready have that led combination on the rear.

These are the ones from Thunderbike:

And these are the ones I made myself on my Fat Bob, I use the same leds from the ShinYo brand as Thunderbike does but the only difference between both except the price is that I used the 2 led version instead of the 3 because I wanted that:

I thought I may have got away without fitting the load equaliser as I had already fitted one when I did the recent Thunderbike fender installation with the integrated tail LED lights. No such luck! As you stated the indicators themselves flash at the correct rate but the instrument cluster indicator flashes at an excessively fast rate without the equaliser. As my bike is totally 'Canbus reliant' with 'fly by wire' throttle, cruise control, TSM etc. I didn't want to potentially introduce any issues further down the line by not keeping things balanced. I added the equaliser to my order knowing that if I didn't need it I knew of others that could do with one being fitted for the same reasoning.

Instead of trading my bike in on a new Street Glide I decided to change up the Breakout. I've had this one over 2 1/2 years now. A lot cheaper to keep them and change it up than buying another bike. The black is looking good with the burgandy tins so far. I put on a Blackline dash, black flush gas cap, black mirrors and black clutch, brake levers and headlight trim a while back. I just put on a gloss black powder coated struts, rear turn signals, license plate bracket and belt cover. I have a set of gloss black powder coated triple trees to put on. Waiting until I decide on what handle bars I'm going to get. I have the CVO speedo bracket/risers powder coated already. Leaning towards Carlini Menace apes, 14" or 16". Still need to change out the cam, tranny and primary cover to black. Haven't made up my mind on the rims yet (black or chrome) or the exhuast. Not sure which one I would like better.

Looks way better with the black struts, but why do you have 2 different struts ? the right one have a different shape then I'm use to see on a Breakout.
