I get the same benefit with my 17 gal Sea to Summit roll top rubberized wet sack. Roll top fits over top of Sissy bar and bottom attaches with bungee. Attach / detach in seconds and it actually holds "air" for a comfy backrest when touring.
I just picked up a 40L earth pak roll top wet bag. And you are correct the fact it holds air makes for a great backrest. My Northface is now my gear bag and it fits perfect on the back of the sissy bar. Minus food I could stay out for a long time. ha ha

Based on a couple of delamination posts and wear issues personally if I was sat where you are I would consider something else than a Brazilian made Metzeler unless you can source one made elsewhere. Pirelli Night Dragons or an Avon Cobra perhaps? Have a dig around the forum. I have a Metzeler but only done a couple of thousand miles on it with no issues and seems to be wearing ok, mine was made in Germany.
It's too bad they don't make the Night Dragon in a larger size. I would like to try a wider tire like a 260 next go around but I have been happy with the Night Dragons I have on my Rocker now.
I'm having some problems getting my 2014 breakout to pump fuel when I switch the ignition to start position it wont pump fuel or try to turn over no click no noise nothing I did take a spill on the bike so I'm not sure where to start battery is good It did read LO RNG but now it is telling remaining miles I'm lost any Ideas would help
Has anyone ever dealt with overheating? I was sitting in dead stop traffic for a long time the other day and not only did my seat get really hot but I feared my engine was going to shut off or malfunction. Would my only option be to pull off to the shoulder and turn it off?

Do you have a stock tune in your bike? If so, get a tuner that'll let you richen the mixture a little and turn off the EITMS.
