I see you've had your Breakout on Ebay. Any luck? Hope you get the price.
Its a beautiful machine, as many on here are. Just my $0.02 but if I were selling mine I would restore it back to OEM parts as much as possible then part out the add on$ separately. A guy can easily have 5-10 grand in add ons which IMHO hold their price better when off the ride.

Yep, it's been a great bike and I've thoroughly enjoyed building it into what it is. I've enjoyed the journey and the ride. Time for the next project! I was asking 20k, and got offered 19k on it, which I think is very reasonable. I had about 21k in it total. The new buyer was grinning ear to ear when he rode it around the block this morning. It's off to it's new home in Indiana as I type this.

Wow. Congrats on the sale. Customizing mine to my liking makes it more difficult to consider selling mine.

Gonna do another Softail or going bagger? Hadta ask.

Not sure to be honest. Now that I've had both, it's a tough choice. The bagger is nice in terms of ride, stability, luggage space, and rider comfort. But, the Softail is way cooler. I really liked my RK, but it often blended in with everything else. Lots of old folks on baggers at every major biker event I went to. Softails were far and few between, and just look way better IMHO. When I had my Road King, my wife referred to it as an "old man bike." I got much nicer compliments with the Softail.

Yea no kidding. I see the exact same thing. I can't justify a bagger unless I'm long distances regularly. Softail for local riding, which is what I do.
