That's cool, I am about to PC my hoops blue on my new-to-me black deluxe. looking for a lead sled, hot rod look. got an indy quote of $760 to do the powder and install lowering springs in the front.
I like the red wheels on that one in the video and does give it that old school hot rod look - I just don't know if it would look "overdone" on my bike since it has a lot of red in it already.

I agree. I think that adding red wheels would throw the look off. If you are wanting to add color to the wheels that badly then maybe have someone add a thin red line on the lip of the wheel. Just to add a small pop of color.
