Sorry guys been busy. Its a custom setup. They are focal 6.5 midwoofer/tweeter combo fitted into a 5 3/4 headlight bucket. The speakers are hooked up straight to a Rockford fosgate amp that I have fitted into the side toolbox. Then I have a ipod hookup straight to amp setup. It only plays the ipod (no radio) but that's all I need. Sounds great
I have Cycle Sounds 3" black speakers mounted on bars next to clamp. With a windshield and my ipod I can here just fine at hwy speeds and with D&D fat cats. If I want radio I switch to Pandora or Iheart radio...
but I am about to get rid of them for a Reckless fairing....
Hey Scootluver, how do you have the iPod hooked to the amp? I was looking online at the fosgate amp but I didn't see a 3.5mm jack or USB. I was thinking that it may be a 3.5mm to red & white audio jacks. Was there much or any modification needed to install the 6.5s in the headlight cans? Thanks for all the info.

Its a setup from ipodcarpros. Its a direct ipod to amp setup. It has an external volume control that I have mounted next to my shotgun air ride controls. It has a headphone jack for music from phones and the 16 pin ipod jack. In regards to the 6.5 speakers fitted into the headlight buckets, the only modification was cutting about 1/4 inch from the outer speaker ring. It fit perfect into the 5 3/4 headlight bucket. I also put some dynomat around the bottom of the bucket to control rattles. But overall great setup if u want to roll with no bags and no fairing.
The setup is iampcbl from ipodcarpros.com but the website doesn't seem to be working for some reason. And it is the rca red/white cables from the 3.5 mm jack and ipod jack.
