I was wondering if I should keep this backrest or take it off ???
I guess it will be nice to use the backrest to strap stuff down to the bike

If you are going to ride with a passenger, keep it. If not, take it off, and cut off that back seat too. The Blackline looks sweet with a solo.

I would like to put a solo seat on the bike.
the cost of this custom made backrest was $330.00 with free shipping.
I have the info if anybody wants one.
They make them for all model Harleys

You can cut the back seat portion off of your stock seat. Then you just bolt the bracket from the back onto the back of the new solo. Pull the leather a little tighter right there at the back and you are in business.

Cool reflectors have to go

I took off the rear to put the backrest on and the front will be next. This week in florida (tampa area) it is going to be around 80 degrees. I will do it then instead of in the cold weather. I think they will come off better
