I have a power vision, fuel motor air cleaner kit and now yaffe skirt blowers. With the tuner, intake and vance n hines true duals the bike was quick. Had good power decent fuel economy and good sound. The power vision is easy to use, there is alot of support for it and it has a nice screen.
If you are not a nerd the power vision is a lot of money for a tuner. If you want low costs and great sound and better throttle response go with this combo from j&p cycles.
Rush slip on exhaust1 3/4.
s&s stage 1 A/C
super chips ez programmer
everything is plug and play and easy to do.

I guess the real question is the tune. If I'm spending $800.00 I get SEST-Pro and dyno tune. I have read a lot about power vision and other auto tuners. They are pricey as well if you get the advanced auto tune function. Have read about and have used the 3 pot fuel tuners that you set yourself and I did not get the kind of results I have gotten from the dyno tune not only in performance enhancements but also they had residual side effects. I would love to save the money but want the better results of the dyno tune. Thanks for all the feedback from everyone. Ride safe.

Power Vision is $499 thru Fuel Moto. You don't need the advanced autotune (Autotune Pro). Fuel Moto will supply it with a good base map for your bike, and any tech support or map edits you might need. They also provide a handlebar mounting bracket and visor at no additional cost.
Autotune basic (a function built into the PV) will allow you to run autotune to trim the tune to your bike. Most people are very satisfied with these results and see no need for additional tuning.
So for $300 less than the cost for a SEPST and Dyno tune you get a state of the art flash tuner and all the tech support you will ever need. Consider calling Fuel Moto to discuss your needs. They are very helpful.
I'm very happy with my PV and many others are too.
Sert is a waste of money. Think of it as the gift that you keep giving, $$$, every time you make a change. If you love getting and seeing a lot of info, nerd, get the PV. It is the best tuner for you. If you see all that info as useless info the superchips vigilante ez is for you. I works great as it tunes the bike without any hassles, plug and play. If all you are doing is a stage 1 AC and slip-ons, PV is a waste of $100 imo. I have a PV and a EZ as I am a nerd and my wife is not. Both bikes are 96's with stage 1 upgrades. her bike runs just as good as mine. S&S air cleaner, Rush slip-ons and EZ= V&H big shot staggered, RSD AC, and PV. Now when I change my cam and add big bore kit the PV will rule. It just depends what you are wanting to do.
Both pv and ez allow you to by a second license. Both of them are not a "piggyback" box that fools the computer to make more power. They both flash the computer similar to what the sert does. difference is with a programmer you can change between economy and performance. That is really nice and it takes only a few seconds to change. If you are on a road trip to Sturges and you live at sea level. You are up to 6000 ft above sea level, id the sert tune still going to be best? PV will allow you to change the tune to the new altitude. Sert not so much. Just food for thought. Big thing is ride safe and smile.
Power vision on the 2012. Great back up service. Touch screen, laptop only required for upgrades or data logging downloads. Ride, stop, adjust. Even tuned in my Big City thunder baffles on the SE stage one slip ons. Your stage one will affect your idle about 500 to 1000 rpm with no tuner.
