I fed mine up through the pipe side of the battery box and secured it there. Figured it's better protected from the elements.

Be careful where you put this, you don't want it to interfere with the swingarm and definitely not the bumpstop when you slam it.
Thanks Jam, this is what I was thinking as well. I'll make sure and watch the swing arm. So far while trying to get the compressor to fit (I have an ABS bike) I couldn't for the life of me get it to fit. Well I was on hour 7 of the whole operation (really taking my time, never done anything like this) and while working slowly to understand the fit I ended up dropping the compressor and breaking the plastic elbow piece where the air tube goes. JD has been great, sent me a different pic and a new piece is in the mail for free.

Thank goodness for great customer service. I have a photo of that as well and will post once I get this all worked out. Hoping the part comes in today. Then I can get the compressor in and hopefully wired up.

They're like legos, full of interchangeable parts.

Out of curiosity, where did you run your wiring harness, to get it from the compressor to topside? Did you find a spot within the battery compartment, or up behind the splash-guard & past the BCM like I did?

Uh oh. I think I'm leaking. Picked the bike up from the shop today and it was all the way down. Got it to a friends house and lifted it up and about an hour later, it was all the way down again. Just lifted it and made sure that there was plenty of air in the rebound side so that it felt pretty stiff. I checked the air line and it wasn't rubbing on anything and still looked connected. I'm going to check again in a little bit and see. It would suck having to take that thing off again.

See here first, with regards to a possible leak:

I talked to JD and he told me how to check the check valve too. I'll have to have the line out for that, so if that's not the case, I'll reinsert the line in the compressor and see what happens. One thing I noticed is when raising it, it takes a while after initially holding the switches then it shoots up to full height. Also, he said with the check valve, once air is in the shock, it shouldn't be escaping. Mine goes to full flat in less than an hour and after I filled it to full stiff the last time, it took maybe 10-20 minutes before the rebound was back to being like a trampoline.

I am going to run the compressor wire under and along the ride side of the frame. The connection point will be the read of the shock. I should get this all completed this week and I'll post photos.
