So I need to vent, I ordered 36" mini cholos in black back in October.
After waiting the 4-8 weeks they said it may take I called them,
They said at least a couple more weeks? Fine it's winter now but
Still wanted the pipes so I could go forward with engine mods.
After repeated calls through jan./feb. I was told end of February
First week in march, FINE! I already waited this long right?
So they say if they are not in by this Friday that I can pick a different
Exhaust and the price won't change, well guess what NO PIPES!
WHAT THE F! I wish they would have just told me that they are not
Making this pipe any more! Very poor customer service!
0796bob,
My apologies for the wait you've experienced. Can you please pm me with the name you ordered them under so I can look up the purchase order. Our ceramic black shouldn't take as long as the chrome cholos and it's possible they did come on on Friday but after the UPS pickup.
Hey Samson tech, my bike will be going on a Dyno in a few weeks. The baffles will be coming out to be cut down for and optimum tune. I have the 39" removable baffled cholos. How easy, ( or hard ) is it to remove them and is there a trick to it? I have seen where guys have ruined their pipes in the process of trying to get them out.

Hey Tbonetony06,
If they have been ran for a considerable amount of miles it will be a lot harder to remove. I would recommend some type of penetrating oil first. Second I would use something that can grab the entire length of the little rod at the end of the baffle and try and rotate it back and forth to loosen up the carbon build up. This is how I usually remove them from mine and then use a dent puller with a hook on it to carefully pull them straight out. It's always a pain after they have been ran though.
Here is a picture of a tool that I made to install and remove baffles:
Thank you,
Brian

Samson teck what's up with the 39 inch cholos with removable baffles and tips I have benn waiting a couple of months for a set and when I ask my dealer he said my guess is as good as his. Roomer has it that Samson has financial problems . First it was the move then it was a chromer what's the story now. No one minded waiting here on the east coast because it was winter and now it's just about riding season and that's when it really starts to hurt can you shed any light on exactly what is holding up the process thank you
Thanks for the response, I ordered the exhaust through my dealer and he has been dealing with you more than I have. I talked to him today and asked him to order any long tail exhaust from you that is in stock, chrome ,black,28",33",36",39" don't care at this point I just want pipes (sick of waiting!) he was told that nothing is in stock and anything ordered today would be at least a 8 week wait! I have waited since October for these pipes because I believe in the quality of your product, I have no problem waiting for a product, I have several guns that I have ordered as long as two years out but I was told the TRUTH that it would take that long! Not strung out over 6 months with empty promises! I have never worked with a company that has been this f'd up! Both me and my dealer have been given the run around it seems no one Has a clue what is going on over there! I ordered some shark tails from Freedom exhaust today should have them by Wednesday! Thanks Samson heres to losing many more customers with the worst customer service ever! Maybe try customer service from India I hear they are pretty good!
The only thing that is taking longer is the logistical challenge of not having your plater in the same state. We just got quite a bit of chrome removable longtails in today and if you order ceramic black I can literally walk to my ceramic coater so the turn around time for black is extremely quick.

Thanks again , I guess my quick turn around is different than yours! Simple fact I ordered in October and still don't have pipes, I wish I could wait for Samson's but I'd rather ride my bike instead.
If anybody is looking for a pair of Samson 28" fishtail slipons I have an unused pair which I want to sell. Part # is S-211. PM for price. I went with Kerkers after my boyfriend ordered these for me.
