so, i had my local dealer install my heavy breather while it was in for my 1k service and when i got it back, i noticed this dangling. should i be worried?
I'd zip tie it up so it's not dangling but all bikes have that. I think it's related to the international bikes pollution controls or something like that. On a stock bike it's attached to the back of the AC but doesn't actually connect to anything. Nothing to worry about. I wouldn't recommend cutting it off though since these are the new Can Bus bikes and it might cause issues if you cut it off. Like I said though leaving it and zip tying it out of the way won't cause any problems.

That's just a connector for California-European-Australian pollution controls.
Ignore it.
I just noticed this connector earlier this evening and was going to ask here. Thank y'all for the answer! My guess is the dealer left it dangling after my 5K service.
