I recently purchased the RevTech Velocity wheels (18 and 23) and I am having trouble with the front hub. The wheel is 3/8" off center. I contacted Custom Chrome on Monday and they in turn have contacted Performance Machine since they make the hubs for the Revtech wheels. I have attached some pics. I will keep you posted on the outcome. Hopefully it all works out.
The rockers are set up that way...mine's the same way, designed at the factory. If you keep the same spacing as your old wheel, your brake rotor should line right up.
I know it looks bizarre, but it's normal...rear is offset also.
Nice looking wheels...I'm tempted to do something similar to mine, but the price for the whole setup is nasty...that's a lot of Guinness's...LOL.
Ride safe.
Ok so I got tired of waiting on Custom Chrome...I figured out the new spacer lengths that I need. I need 1" and a 1 1/8" spacers. That will center my wheel then I will shave 1/8" of the caliper mount on the fork leg. It shouldn't compromise the integrity of the caliper mount.
See the attached pic of the 23 mounted on my Rocker.
Kowan,
The surface rust is on the bearing spacer that goes inside the hub....I sanded the surface rust of the spacer...no big deal... LOL, I should have sanded it before I took the pic.
