Last October I was involved in a slight mishap, someone let a portable basketball goal fly out of the back of their truck on a local highway. It happened about 5:45 in the morning, so it was dark out, plus I was in a group of cars merging onto the highway. The HD mustache bar took a big brunt of the impact as i was trying to veer and miss the obstacle without becoming a speed-bump myself. I did get a nasty gouge on my leg, but judging by the scuff marks on the highway bar, it would have been a lot worse had I not had it!!!

I have had both over the years. I have the HD moustache guard on my Heritage now. Neither of them could I really use as a foot rest The things are just too far away.

I have the hd mustache bar with pegs. I'm 6'2". Using the legs I feel like I'm getting a pelvic exam. My knees are bunched up and it's very uncomfortable. If I stretched out my legs, my mid calf rests on the pegs.
