Default HID install. WOW!

Ordered the 34w H4 High/Low hid kit from ddmtuning.com for my 2007 deluxe flstn. 61 and some change to the doorno instructions came with everything but its all plug and play and just have to pay attention to what your doing. Ran separate switch and rewired harness. Yes ballast and relay fit in the bucket behind the headlight. I got the 12000k which is the darkest and still bright as ****. Like a barge spotlighting the river.

Yep, you'll never go back to filliment headlights. When ya get the opportunity, try the 6K bulbs. Even brighter than the 12K but more daylight appearance. I installed mine when I was working in Arizona a few years ago. Made those high speed runs down I-10 safer.

Idk, I like the way the dark blue looks. Im ok with seeing 3 miles with the blue as opposed to seeing daylight for 5 miles with the 6000k lol. But yea, will not go back to filliment.

As a professional driver they are way to bright when on coming and I find myself looking away and towards the fog line to get by these new lights everyone is going to. This includes all vehicles. Police vehicles are also getting ridiculous, I have a hard time seeing where the officer is if he is out of his vehicle.
While your light is AWSOME for high vis, I just wish they could dim for on coming.

I 100% agree. Thats why I myself am a white guy about it abd have it pointed real low so its a sharp line in front of me.

Blue is actually harder on the eyes and makes it harder to see in certain conditions. Try taking a car with bluer HIDs out in a snow storm compared to one with white lights or yellow. Even though the blue looks good, it's not always the safest choice.

They are bright, very bright. You will get noticed for sure. I have HID in both of my bikes. They won't look at you the whole time, but you will get their attention, and that is what it is all about.

I love mine and feel it's one go the best things I've done to my bike, and the best safety feature you can add to a motorcycle...front and back. The most important thing is the visibility by the motorcycle operator

I hit a deer on my last ride of the season last fall in large part because I didn't see him in time. I can't read a crystal ball but I would like to think if I had more light out in front of me I would have seen him sooner thus giving me more time to react. I do have to admit that it happened so fast I don't know if it would have helped or not but I don't want to find out by hitting one again. I will have a new head light before my bike hits the road this season, I just don't know which one it will be.
