Run some Big City Thunder - Thunder Monster baffles. You won't lose any performance and most likely gain a little. You'll wake the dead and probably **** off the neighbors but you'll be legal and it will sound like a HD.

I had Rush with the 2"baffles on a deluxe that I used to own . They sounded great and the fit and finish was top notch . If your looking for something cheaper than a full system, You cant go wrong with Rush slip- on .

Listen to Oct1949. He knows what he's talking about and he did cams, too. After dallying with a full V&H system, Stage 1 and dyno/SE tuner, I went back to slip ons and specifically Rush with the 1 3/4 baffles. They sound great and I haven't noticed a bit of performance drop from the Big Shots . . . and the popping/ gurgling is non-existent. They have a nice, deep exhaust note.

You can always build from there, but Rush slip ons are a great start.

All the videos from rush sounded like tin. Is your real experience that is not the case??

Not sure what you mean by "sounding like tin" but do a search and go to some events or your local dealer and give a listen to bikes and you decide. The YouTube sound clips are crap.
