I bought a Reckless Fairing for my 12 Deluxe but it didn't come with mounting hardware except for the mounting brackets that attach to the fairing. Also no instructions.

What mounting kit do I need to buy to make this quick on and off? Any help from someone with this same fairing?

 

mine came with metal grommets to replace the rubber grommets that the quick detach windshield uses

 

Thanks mine didn't come with metal grommets I guess they only come with those if you buy the fairing with the stereo and speakers installed?

 

Take the brackets to a dealer and see if they'll slide on Heritage rubber grommets. Heritage grommets should work but I don't know if the front panel on a Deluxe is pre-drilled to accept the grommet studs. Is there any kind of windshield hardware on your bike? If not you'll need to get or make brackets and fasten them to the side of the front panel.

 

I have one. Mounted right up to the factory windshield hardware.

 

That's what I thought, I didn't know if a Deluxe had the windshield hardware. The OP's hardware must be missing then. Either way - easy install.
