I did Rush 2'', SE a/c, SERT and a dyno at my 1k -7 yrs ago..
gained a couple #'s of TQ and Hp.. no lose at lower rpms.. after I did the cams they made a big, big improvement...
General consensus indicates you can change your slipon mufflers without having to change the tuning of your bike. Changing both AC and muffler requires at least a dealer download or other tuner.
I put V&H slip ons with the standard baffle on my ride without perceivable difference in performance. The 2in rush will be about the same.
You should see a performance gain for HP and TQ. We always recommend tuning but with the 1.75" and 2.00" it's not always required. Most people can install those sizes with no issues but tuning will bring out the performance from the upgrades. The 1.75" will have a greater chance of not requiring tuning. The 2.00" is the most popular.
