Default Sissy bar help

What size are the hex screw bolts on the 14 slim!? Bought a bowman welding sissy bar and can't figure out what size it is...

They're Torx. Just did mine and forgot the size.

Yea torx, sorry. Can't believe there isn't a you tube video or "how to" on here. Or bowman even say what size it is!

Wish the directions were better for this sissy bar, is that metal fender frame under the fender necessarily? I think that's why I'm having such a hard time trying to get it on

Yes it goes between the fender and the fender struts. Be careful sliding the brackets into place, you can scratch your paint if you aren't careful.

Tried to post a pic of what I'm talking about, but haven't having issues. Anyhow it's a metal frame that's tucked underneath the fender. Do I need that under there?

I had to do a side at a time, totally taking apart the fender...

Finally have it on! Although there's more of a gap on one side than the other... And on my bike I had to use t40 and t45 size torx sockets
