I haven't had any issues with the legends air ride. If one day the shock decides to loose air, you can comfortable ride with the bike slammed all the way down. These shocks have bump stops that won't let the bike rub. One thing for sure, there is nothing better to see a bike slammed and air rides can accomplish this.

I agree on the slammed look. And, yes you can ride on the bump stops. Not sure if I would us the word "comfortable" though. Haha.
Especially when you're riding two-up with a fully loaded bike in Colorado in a rain storm looking for replacement parts for your shocks : )
Ok, so good news from Jason at Legend. He looked at the pics and said he will take care of it under warranty. He said it doesn't look like a manufacture defect but since he had told me to crank the fitting down earlier he will take care of it.
But I do have to send the unit back so I will be out of riding for a while. Depending on how long it will take them to get fixed I may be emailing one of you about a stock set of shocks to get me by in the meantime.
That's good to hear, spent quite a bit of time talking with him in Milwaukee last year at the 110th and one of the things he said to me was that he stood behind his product no matter what. Came real close to pulling the trigger on one of his systems, but the guy from Drag Specialties working his tent was a pushy salesman and there was a four wait to have it installed.

Cool. What did you end up going with instead of Legend? I'm always happy to hear when people stand behind their products. I'm relieved that he is taking care of me. I was prepared to have to battle it out with him
