How long was your bike on the DYNO for??
About an hour with tweaking. They only needed to do about four actual pulls though.

Only an hour seems short to tune the bike from reading these forums that is,anybody else have opinions on dyno tune or some good articles on it?

I still, respectfully, stand by my earlier post mentioning my opinion that the 07's just don't see the tuning increases that are seen with the earlier 88s. Yes, generally the percentages ALMOST match the displacement increase...BUT those heads are supposed to be clearly superior. Makes me wonder why it doesn't show up in dyno results. Brings up the question of "is mild head rework worth it for an 88?". Clearly a year ago I would have said absolutely..but these improvedheads just don't seem to be paying back like they should. Somebody is either being short changed by the tuner or the bigger numbers haven't been posted yet. Come on, I wanna spend some money mildly reworking heads on my 05...give me some meat. John

I'm with flibouy..... these stage 1 96" strokers that are barely managing 70HP have got to leave you wondering WTF???? Nice to see the tourque curves holding strong through the mid range..... My 95" '03 makes 93HP, 102TQ and is a stump puller almost off idle on. If I had let her go for an '07 96" and was that anemic AND had to deal with allthe tranny problems, I would have been smokin' pissed.......

I agree with you guys on a lot of points but at the same time we're only talking another 134 cc's. Granted these engines should make more power than the 88's, especially with the reworked heads, but how much I'm not sure. The thing I am happy with, like hoofnhog pointed out, is the TQ curve has held strong as it should with the longer stroke of the 96". That's what you feel in the old seat of the pants meter. I'm as confused as you guys though. Wish I woulda had them do a pull or two before I took the baffles out. I don't have one problem with my tranny so far though. Smooth as silk and no noise. Loving 6th gear so far.
