Default Got my '07 Deuce dynoed today

Got my Deuce dynoed today at Highland HD in Somerset PA, great people and service.

V/H Big Radius no baffles

Not too bad for drag pipes, I just wanted a nice safe tune not looking to squeeze every last bit of HP/TQ out of it.

Let me tell you though the Big Radius are NASTY without baffles, I love it!

Only problem with that is he has a 96" motor and yours is an 88.

Your A/F mixture seems a little lean up to 4000 rpm but after that it looks spot on. I really dont know much about the whole dyno tune thing but Im guessing the Big radius pipes without the baffles are robing you of some good HP and TQ but if thats not a concern your doing good.

That is so true. I have a copy of my dyno chart from my mustang in each room at my office to show people from time to time.

Yeah they tried to talk me out of pulling the baffles due to that fact. The bike also only had 700 miles on it. A little lean in the low RPM's which was OK with me and right on in the high RPM's where it counts. I was happy, I don't ride my bike hard and like Cris said I'm not worried about every last horse. I put 170 miles on today and she runs great and sounds even better. You guys GOTTA hear these pipes they are EVIL lol.

I like my el cheapo 88" better everytime I see an 07 96" stage I dyno chart!!! With Rhineharts, SE a/c and PCIIIusb I dynoed at 72/82 up from untuned 61/66 stage I. I am beginning to wonder about the seemingly lower difference in numbers when comparing the 88 with the 96. Logic would indicate between the engines..the longer stroke should really show up in the torque difference, moreso than hp number I imagine. I am not a scooter mechanic but make I the leap of faith that the principles are the same as in air cooled lawnmowers and watercooled V8s. In ashorter stroke 95" the RPMs should come quicker, rev more freely as we car gearheads always believed. The 96 should come on in torquelike a John Deere diesel compared to the 88" and I just am not seeing that...odd...maybe seat of the pants dyno would agree more with my observations than the dyno printouts. Can it be the tuners of 96s aren't trying as hard or what? Just wondering...and please don't take this as criticism 07 riders...just wondering..besides I have never been accused of being logical John

My stage 1 96" dynoed at 76/89 with a PC111. About a 6% and 9% increase over your 88 respectively. I suppose that's not a real big deal
assuming we both have good tunes. Other charts I've seen however seem to indicate the 96' gets it's tq earlier which is good seat of the pants stuff.

Hey BoneCrusher,

I am looking to get my 07 Deuce dynoed at the 1k service. What can I expect to pay for the dyno itself?Happy withthe way the bike rides stock, can't wait to ride it after the stage 1.

Thanks

I think you would see an even better increase if you replaced those BR, or at least put the baffles back in.

I run a FatCat on a stage 1 '05 and it dynoed 74/78.

BR look great, but they aren't known as a performance exhaust.
