Looking to upgrade the suspension on my Heritage and considering the progressive 422 RAP or the Shotguns. I would like some HONEST feedback on the shotgun shocks.
The only thing that concerns me about the air ride is that I will get a "bouncing" pogo like effect that will really annoy me. I know they are rebound adjustable, but on rough and uneven roads how bouncy are they?
I'm NOT looking to lower the bike at all, just looking for a better performing softail shock.
Thanks
I just installed my shotgun shock the other day and I absolutely love it, worth every penny. No pogo effect at all. I would highly recommend it, you will not regret it. It is 10 times better then your stock shock. If you call them directly and tell them you're an hdforum member they will sell it to you for $1250 shipped and it has a lifetime warranty....can't beat that

Just like everyone else has said the Shotgun Shock is it when it comes to suspension. We have had our SS for over two years now and the wife and I both have bad backs and with the SS we don't worry about the sh%&y roads here is sunny Southern Kalifornia. And the adjustment of the SS system is NOT that hard to learn. Go SS....
