103 engine noise

Why would a 103" make more noise than the 96" motor? The only difference is the bore & pistons.
Putting a louder exhaust on is the equivalent of turning up the radio when your car is making abnormal noises.
If any dealership says that it is perfectly normal, then tell them that you want to hear every single motorcycle on their showroom floor so they can back up their claim.

I switched from Syn3 to Amsoil and it's noticeably louder - but then I also switched from a 3/4 helmet to a Bell 1/2 helmet. 
I'll bet a can of STP would quiet it down - until it seized.
