the teardrop tool box will fit. only 2 of the 3 bolt holes line up, but that is all you need. it is not going to come lose. i just installed one 2 weeks ago. i also purchased the CRUZ teardrop tool kit.
Mike - just like Tony says only two of the three bolt holes line up but believe me that thing is secure - I have one on both sides - one side has a very complete tool kit that I assembled walking through the isles of Sears and using the teardrop liner - other side is reserved for clear lenses, cigars, a small LED flashlight, tire pressure gauge, and any other bric-a-brac I choose not to carry on my person. I like the looks of my bike without them a little better but the functionality far outweighs the difference in appearance. Zanotti's has a great price on them as well - got both sides and both liners + shipping for about what I would have paid for just the boxes at HD (these are Genuine HD parts as well).
Nice ride Senomo - love the color combo - welcome to the fold!!
Oh and I echo the jealousy of your lawn - been thinking about going Zoysia down here in SC - folks up North don't know how lucky they are to have a plush rye/fescue lawn - those things just burn up down here... southern lawns are mucho worky!!
Thanx for the replies about the the toolbox 06Duece and Voodoo, but the wife told me today she already ordered it and it was up to me to make it work before I posted the question. Just glad to find out that its an easy addon. I believe in carring a few basic tools all the time. When I had my Fatboy I always had the leather tool pouch full of tools, only needed it twice but in my travels I came upon other bikers that were in need of tools and the kit came in handy. (its always a good feeling when ya can help another bike in trouble and get them on the road again). Thanx again guys
At lunch today I saw a raked out Deuce with ape hangers. It looked terrible. Sorry if there's anyone in here with a bike setup that way, but it's just my opinion.
