Good choice on the shocks. It will change the hole look
once you slam it. Make sure your preload is not to soft
so the rear doesn't bottom out. I mention because it
happened to me and my lower back took a good thump
to say the least. Man you've been slapping the mods on
like it's going out of style. The bike is already killer but
I can't wait to see your updated pics. Good job bro.
CC,
I was going to go with just the lowering bolts on the stock shocks but didnt want to sacrifice ride. Not to many things left that i want/need to do, the next thing is to clean up the rear fender but, that is going to take a little thought.
I need to make sure everything else is done, i am headed toMyrtle Beach on 5/15.
Thank for the comps.

I just spent hours going through this thread looking at everyone's pictures and reading the different mods everyone has done. I wish I could afford to by a couple more Deuces and customize them in different ways. It seems like everyone has their taste and in some way they all look awesome to me. Now I'm starting to think about switching out some of things I've done and add things I haven't done. Where is that winning lotto ticket when I need it..... I do think of all the Harleys, the Deuce looks the best when it's customized. Something about the lines of the bike I guess. Good work on the bikes guys! Everyone in here has an amazing looking bike.
like canuck said, your bike looks totally different once you slam it. my back hurtswith every bump in the road but i love the way it looks. yesterday i scraped my pipes again taking a sharp right hand turn. that's the 2nd time i've done that. ride safe!
bluedeuce, My dad and I are making the ride to Myrtle this year. It's a lot closer for us than it is for you. We live in SC already, but we're on the mountain side. It looks like you'll be getting there after we've left. We'll be there for the first weekend. The company we work for gets every other Friday off and that happens to fall on our off Friday, so there's no need for us to take time off. Should be a good time. I've been to Myrtle four times and Daytona once. I had more fun at Myrtle. Daytona gets kinda old pretty quick because you're pretty much limited to sidewalks. Not to mention you have to pay for parking! Myrtle seems to have more venders set up also. One of these years I'm wanting to make a trip to Sturgis.
