You will probably lose Hawgfoot.
Not because your bike isn't the best this month, but simply because the BOTM is becoming a catagory "popularity" contest these days.
There are simply more bagger owners on this website than softail owners.
Each model catagory rally their troops to vote. I guess it's natural, but disappointing.
I know George and I don't have a problem with losing as long as it's a fair competition.
It's just this whole thing with them giving the not so subtle hints that their catagory members should cheat to boost the vote count is not sitting well with most....
Fairness?
That's what's so surprising & disappointing. Geez, I would think that this BOTM thing would be run with more honesty & dignity.
I never thought that bikers would be sochildish and dishonest.
What a bunch of **** those pukes are..
Either way, you have the best ride this month, and it's a longstretch to get to the second place ride.
Know that...
Amen Lobo
And thanks for rubbing it in with the nice weather in Texas. [:@]
Who makes those tricked out turn signals and did you need a load equalizer for them??
BD
Love those bars man.
I found the turn signals on eBay from a company called Pivotal Powersports. I wired the power and ground wires and taped up the running light wire (not used).I installed theload equalizer under the seat and spliced into the existing turn signal wiring.Damn there's lots of wires under there!
DeuceDude,Big Bear Choppers makes some tiny bullet turn signal that would look great as rear signals.
Hawgfoot, these baggers guys are getting rediculous. I say f*ck 'em. You have a bad *** ride and everyone knows it. By the way, that's a cool way of taking photos.
Thanks for the welcome and comments! There's always something on list of things I want to do to it. It seems to never end. But that's what makes it so much fun! I don't think I'll have the chance to add anything in the near future, though. I'm getting married in a couple weeks and the plan is get a Sportster for her to ride. She's signed up take a Motorcycle Safety Course the end of next month, so in a couple months she should have her own ride. So with another clean slate, I'm sure the money will be going into her bike. The next thing I add will probably be a custom solo seat. Who knows when that will be, though.
it should be fun customizing a sporty for the wife. i'd like to buy an old beat up sporty and use it in conjunction withone of the many sportsterchopperkits outthere(carolina customs, flyrite choppers, etc.)
