hey guys, one of my buddie's mom died this weekend in a motorcycle accident. she was riding passenger when the motocycle hydroplaned and hit a truck. she was only 55 years old. the driver of the motorcycle was 53. the bike followig them swerved and fell to avoid the accident. both those riders were ok.
i don't want to bring everyone down after a long weekend, just want to make everyone aware. please be careful. please be aware of road conditions. we've been getting heavy rain in texas for a couple months and i've only taken my bike out a few times last month. both diane and polito were experienced bikers. they've been riding their whole life. you never know what can happen......
Hi all. I'm new to the forum, but have been lurking here for a while getting a lot of good info and ideas. I have a 2004 Deuce, fixing it up a little at a time.
Where are you from, man? I noticed the article you linked to was from the Victoria Advocate. I grew up in Victoria. I spent my elementary years in Bloomington right where that accident occurred. Sorry to hear about the loss.
i live in port lavaca, 30 miles south of victoria. 100th, do you come down to this area often? if so, look me up. we can cruise the coast. it's nothing like riding the hill country around austin, but i know some good routes.
