CC, I have been riding since I was 12 years old I am "very young" 51 now. I always owned at least one bike.
I love my Deuce but I need something a little more suited for Sport Touring. A bike that eats up highway mileage. After 200 miles on the Deuce I start to get irritable... don't get me wrong I could easily do 400-550 miles a day on it, but it gets a little harder each year.
Yes I am getting another bike.
I know I am going to get flamed by the crew but I can take it... I am going metric
2007 Honda ST1300. My ears are ringing now... Can I still come out to play with you guys?
Back in my sport touring days, the ST1100 was the bike (I rode a VFR750.) Haven't looked in to the ST lately, but if I was going back Sport Touring that would be one of the first I'd looked at. Good luck and ride safe.
BTW: got the Boss Bags on my Deuce today and they are sweet! Hope the Mustang seat gets here tomorrow.

No flaming here bro. I've seen a few ST1300's around. And they are a hell of a machine. They look super comfy and I'm sure they have plenty of power for the open road. Also, I think you are making the right choice of metric companies.
P.S. You will always have permanent spot at this playground.[sm=smiley20.gif]
i just put a bagger on hold at the local hd shop....must be something in the air! its a 2001 ultra, the opposite of my bike..lol...been looking for a while and it came around and at the right price so i'm doing it! my deuce is staying though! i'm not going to cruise around town on an ultra.....lol....but its going to be sweet on the long rides........
