Cheers CC, you have a real nice bike there. not that all the others are not. only got mine 3 months ago n changed a few bits but its starting to inspire me, first HD at 51. Fedup with sports bikes. Take care
I was hoping someone can help me out here. I am trying to get a LED fuel gauge, the billet cross style HD part #75091-04. The description says: 75091-04
Fits '04-later FXDB, FXDL, FXD35, FXDF and FXDWG and '07-later FXDC models, '04-'07 SoftailÂŽ models, '01-'03 EFI SoftailÂŽ models (except FXSTDI), '03-'07 Road KingÂŽ and '01-'07 EFI Road KingÂŽ models.
As I read the description it will fit 04-07 Softails-all? I have an 04 Deuce and was wondering if someone here has put one on. Just want to be sure before I order it. Thanks
Been looking through the threads and cannot find this answer... I am wondering how the ride on a Deuce changes if one was to add a 240 in the rear. I understand that some say that cornering is harder due to the bike wanted to stay in a straight line, but I am also wondering if the change in side wall construction of a 240 tire affects the ride quality. If yes, can the ride quality also be again improved with an air suspension?
Oh, and DB - love the SE Springer. Actually have considered one - all, if not more bling than the Deuce and just so well put together. Me and the boys around here like the twisties - how does it handle compared to the Deuce?
I feel that it handles about the same as the Deuce, only difference being is I like how the springer front end feels compared to my Deuce...
also, whenI sat on my Deuce, It felt like I was sitting "in" the bike rather than "on" it, the SE springer feels even MORE like I'm sitting "in" it than the Deuce! (I like that feeling!)
Happy New Year Gang - hope all had a wonderful holiday season and you got/gave all that you wanted. I know there must be some nice new mods out there, let's see 'em... my wife got me some new speakers for my home theater (don't worry she didn't pick them out) - the bad news is that she got the ones I wanted and so I was required to throw a couple grand infrom my mod stash - looks like I won't be making any significant changes for a while, got to rebuild my squirrel hole.

Happy new year to you and yours to buddy. What could
you possibly do to your Deuce to make it look better man.
That bike friggin rocks!!
What type of speaker's did you get?Sounds like you've
got something badazz going on in the home theater.
Anywho, nice to hear from you top dawg.
