Thanks, I didn't know Foose made HD wheels. I'll take a look.
I added this story elsewhere but I'll do it again here as its specific for deuces. I fitted a 180/55/17 to my stock rim today and it went on no prob. Only problem is its narrower than my original 160/70/17. The 160 measured 169 wide on the rim and the 180 measures 165, go figure. Gotta say i was a little disappointed when i picked the bike up. Can anyone shed some light on this tyre phenomina? Anyway just sharing my experience so you guys dont get dissappointed like i did.
Canuck -
Will that SE deuce 180 fit on a stock deuce rim w/ stock swingarm??
The Screamin' Eagle 180 will fit the Deuce with no other mods. It's a tight fit, but it does fit. That's what I had on my Deuce. Harley recommends the wide tire kit they sell, but it's not necessary.
Here's a picture of my old Deuce. It's not a picture from the rear, but you can see that I had the chrome version of the stock Deuce wheel and it had the Screamin' Eagle 180 on it with no other mods.
Updated pic...added the big radius this past weekend after getting rid of the la choppers. Next is to install the Wild One's I have sitting in the garage. After that, mabe a new front wheel.
