06 - when I use my lift (craftsman red) I have to pump my bike all the way up (Airride) and then hold it up straight to slip the lift under. When the bike is all the way up I would guess that it is about an inch to an inch and a half lower than stock - not sure if that helps or not.
Grey, I'm loving those pipes. Your Deuce looks great. I've been thinking about going with a Thundermax w/autotune and V&H BR 2-1s on my Deuce. What kind of HP/TQ numbers are you getting? Also, what turn signals are those up front? Anybody know if a dyno tune can help with the Thundermax w/autotune or is it not needed? I plan on doing some engine upgrades and I'm not looking forward to getting a new tune everytime I add/change something. I'm currently running a PCIII (been dyno tuned also).
Thanks for the replys on the new pipes. I am liking them more each day.
Asahi- I don't have any numbers on the bike yet, but you can dyno tune the Thundermax if you like. I did adjust mine manually a bit from the base map. The signals are LazerStars. I actually just remounted the fronts using HD stalk mounts instead of the tube clamps and mounted a set for the rear. I will get some pics of the new lights tomorrow.
I like the quote of being a Veteran Vodoo. Nice rides everyone. I have about 30 days left in Iraq and have a lot of plans for my deuce when I get home. I am wanting to go with a 180 tire on the back with theHogpro rims I am getting. I have read that there's not a lot of modifications that I would need to make. I also lowered the back 2 inches. Anyone put the 180 on without the Harley 180 kit?
Lobo - when the bike is all the way down it is somewhere between4and 6 inches - at that point it is virtually sitting on the frame - A hardtail at that point.
BlkDeuce - thanks for your service friend - be careful in your closing days, remain vigilant and come home safely to your Deuce and your family (and yes that includes all of us)
k everyone i know i asked this before but i need opinions here i am not sure what to do for a seat. I want to do a seat that is very thin poss have gel in it for comfort and just a very sleek and thin seat i will put my stock one back on for longer rides. Anyone have a stock seat pan they want to sell or does anyone have a seat that sounds like it might fit what i am looking for.
