Unfortunately I had to give up my stock seat when I traded in the Deuce. Otherwise I would been happy to help you out. Sorry.

Grey,

I'm real interested in those Lazer Stars. Are yours the LEDs? If so, did you need a load equalizer? I've got the HD run/turn signal controller, an HD LED taillight and HD security. I'm wondering if I can get all this stuff working properly without a load equalizer? Also, are they the micro B or XS signals? I'd like to scrap my Kuryakyn LEDs for those Lazer Stars (front and rear). I'm interested in some fork mount ideas for the Lazer Stars to help hide the wiring as well. Post some pics when you can. Again, excellent Deuce. You've inspired me to finally put on my Ness Velocity Stack this weekend.

Thanks for your input.

Asahi,
They are the halogen micro Bs. I used to run LEDs so I already had a load equilizer, I dont think I really need one now but it is already in. Formounting I first used some fork tube mounts that I used my dremel on to make a groove for the wires to run inside of the clamp. I just switched to the HD Deuce mount. The HD mount makes them stick out an inch farther but I like the look of the just a bit better. To help hide everything I used the HD lower clamp cover, and my wires are pretty well hidden. From under the tank the wires go to the top of the bottom clamp then disappear from there. Let me know if you need anymore pictures.

Fronts on the new mounts:

Rears- They are way smaller than stock and clean up the back enda bit:

Cohdrider,
The bars and risers are factory HD oversize Deuce models. They came as a kit, picked them up on ebay pretty cheap.

Grey;
Thanks for the quick reply. Looking at the HD catalog, you must be talking about the 1 1/4" fat handlebars, original equipment on the SE Deuce.

Thanks for the advice and pics grey,

Again, everything looks great. Now I just have to figure out my plan. I definitely like the Lazer Star signals better than my Kuryakyn signals. The Kuryakyn signals are nice but IMO, are a little too big. The Micro Bs look like the perfect size. I'm going to stick with LEDs I think though so I bought a smart equalizer to get all of this stuff working properly together (I hope):

I like your ideas on mounting and hiding the wires also. I actually have the HD chrome handlebar filler but just haven't installed it yet. I'm not sure if I can get away with the chrome headlight filler though since I have the billet headlight. I'll probably be going with some Street Slammer (or similar) bars and chrome controls/braided cables soon so I'll probably skip the chrome filler(s) anyway.

Thanks again for the advice and pics. Ride safe.

The chrome filler that I am using is the one that goes under the bottom triple clamp HD #66021-00. The front lights are wired on the same (-) wire to keep the number of wires down. The signal wires are run from the tank to the top of the bottow tripple tree. There is a small opening that the wire will fit thru to get to the bottom end, which will then be covered by the cover listed above. I hope this helps.
