strang9986,
I thought i updated the issue is was having.
Turns out that the computer on the bike was not detecting the new ecm, the code was cleared by the shop that did the motor. i took it to Myrle Beach and the engine light never came on. It was close to 90 degrees down there on the first Saturday, and I sat in traffic for some time and the light never came on.
So it was not the caps doing it at all.
Read back I think some install the Rocker caps and they were fine. i installed the softail caps and there is a slight gap between the gauge and the console. no will notice unless you point it out.
Good luck.
I installed the rocker ones on my 2001 carb deuce and they fit like a glove,no gaps, installed in 1/2 hr...the only problem is they aren't accurate so don't go by the guage, that is why they fir 2008 rockers and not deuces, must be different sensers in the deuce tank I don't know...you have to use your tripometer, the bike was starting to cough when I was riding and there were 2 blue lights still lit and had to switched over to my reserve tank while I was riding and then when for a fill.....
I am wondering if I bend my float arm in the tank slightly if it might be more accurate.....Enzo
Wow, it would take me days to get thru all the great pics! Being new on here is dangerous, time flies by looking at all the great rides, just glad I am now part of the "family"
