Hey Canuck not much movement on here lately hows things. Just wondering do you know whether the guys on here that have fitted the SE 180 to the stock deuce rim have had any dramas with the tyre rubbing on the belt. From my recollection they all went on with no probs but i know a guy who's just fitted one and has got this problem and is not sure how to fix.
Just went thru this. Have pm wheels,This is my 3rd 180 avon tire ,for some reason the last one is wider[do not know why]. rubbed on drive belt bad.called vulcan to get spacers. spaced pulley from wheel 3/8 in . good company to deal with.
Ratsmow,
Make sure your wheel is perfectly centered. Cause if it's slightly
to one side or the other, it will pull the belt in from the primary pulley and make
it rub. It's quite tight in there so every mm counts. If every thing is nice and centered
and she is still rubbing. Try what Deucegray is talking about. That will definately
work.

Happy New Year Deuce'rs! Let's get us back to the top of the picture page... Been messing around in the garage lately... If I only had a brain...
I have a picture somewhere of the new Thundermax/autotune in that spot but can't find it right now... new exhaust going on this week with O2 sensors...
Pulled the tank to relocate turn signals...
While the tank was off, made a lift bracket, about 1-1/8" lift, just enough to change the look a little...
Should have finished pics over the weekend...
Pipes are ON! They are Martin Bros. FatDaddies...
Pipes have somewhat of a baffle, they sound really deep and powerful...
Small tank lift helps out the overall lines, I think...
I am very impressed with the Thundermax/autotune, bike runs better and smoother now than it ever has, after multiple dyno tunes by multiple shops...
Wow I've been gone a while, the forum has changed. I dropped my bike last night, need new bars and right side fender strut cover. Does anyone have some used stuff laying around?
Hope you're ok man. The bike could always be fixed. Btw, nice hearing from you
again man.

Hi Crazy, the bike was one of those slow speed oops deals. The only pain will be in the wallet. They changed the forum since I've been gone, BOTM format seems better. Not alot happening in this section, guess thats what happens when you've been discontinued. LOL
Pro,
Guess what man. I just looked in my parts bin and found my left and right fender strut covers
from when I did my Heartland conversion. And they're in top knotch shape. How about
this. Since I can't get any "Red Line Shockproof Heavy" gear oil anywhere here in Montreal, I'd be
willing to exchange the covers for two quarts of the good stuff. Let me know what you
think bro.
