- Karlos Moreno, 34, Port Lavaca, was treated and released Saturday from Citizens Medical Center in Victoria after being in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 87 near Port Lavaca, according to Department of Public Safety Trooper Lynn Floyd of DPS Post 32. Trooper Floyd said Moreno’s accident was caused by some rubber from a tire and wood laying on the highway. The accident occurred at 12:11 p.m. Saturday, he said.
Moreno was one of many cyclists on the highway Saturday around noon.
“The driver of the accident was traveling along on south US 87,” Floyd said. “There was debris on the roadway, rubber and wood. The driver took evasive action. He swerved to the right, locked up his brakes and was thrown from his bike.
Floyd said Moreno received minor head injuries and he broke his shoulder.
Floyd said Moreno was not wearing approved head gear. If he had taken a safety class he would not have had to wear it, Floyd said.
thought I would share my Deuce, dressed a little different and maybe not as clean as the rest of the nice bikes I see here, but, still hot bike to look at!
lobo,
If there are too many parts along with perhapssome
frame damage. Your better off starting with a clean slate.
I know it's tough. But perhaps it's time to let her go. Again,
I'm glad to hear all is well my man.
Lee,
She looks super clean to me. And as for the dressed
a little different, she looks awesome with the bandana.
Welcome man.
P.S. j/k, love the bike.

Lobo, sorry to hear man. Haven't been on in awhile. Happy to hear that it was not more serious. I have a bunch of stock parts sitting in the garage if you need anything to get her up and running again. But as CC said, maybe it would be best to put her to rest and start fresh. Feel better bro!
Hey lobo, glad to hear you are as ok as you can be after that, sorry about the bike. You know, I haven't been wearing a helmet much myself lately and I'm always wondering when I get on the bike if today is the day I should have wore it. Let us know what happens with your insurance and again, glad your still here with us.
Hope you have a speedy recovery Lobo and are back in the saddle soon. Geez no helmet, downunder you have to wear a helmet otherwise you dont ride. Why would'nt you wear a helmet, surely it makes to. Come on guys, if not for your own sake think about your families and loved ones who may have to spend the rest of there lives hand feeding you and wiping your ****.
