Hi Gents,
I just picked up this 2003 Deuce the other day, its my first Harley. I bought it as is, so I am pretty happy with it. I think I might want to lower the front with springs. "
Saddlemen bag, picked up from JP. Comes with 2 nylon straps for mounting, it worked somewhat, the upright for the backrest just wasnt enough. So ended up making a hard mount plate for it, and attacting it to the upright thru the pad mounting screws. then used 4 bolts to mount it to the plate. "should of done it at day 1, it actually had some sag to it, and ended up rubbing on the seat bolt and rubbed a hole in the bottom"
I have a 17x6 mostly solid custom wheel with slots coming to the house. I'm going to have it powder coated the get a tire and get it installed. I was thinking about getting the dash powder coated at the same times, but if I do that do I have to dissasmble the switch and cover as well to get it powder coated?
Whoring the old girl out.
I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can take it somewhere with the big camera.
