DO you have a picture of your console powder coated. i bought one from ebay and i'm having it painted vivid black. not sure i'm going to like it but how else will i know.
i'm leaving the center chrome and the switch. i should have it in a week or 2.

Bike looks great.
My console is at a friends shop, going to the chromer to get de-chromed sooner or later.
I was going to have it painted, but yours looks great might go with powder coating.

You know CC I think you started a trend. The powder coated console really makes a difference. I am waiting for my rims to come in and can't wait. My heartland kit should be in this week and know that I think about I am gonna call my shop and see if the can extend my tank and wrap into my seat. It just never ends. My others vices were sooo much cheaper.

If you black out the tank console, defenitely powder coat it. It's much stronger than
paint. And make sure you tell the guy who's doing the job that you don't want any dust
under the powder coat. I made him redo mine cause of the dust. If you notice in my pics.
I also powder coated my rear fender struts but since have rechromed them cause to me
it didn't balance out with the front end. I would probably have had to powder coat my
front lower forks to better balance everything. But then it would have lost it's Deuceness in my opinion.

hey guys cleaning out my closet today (figure that out ,wifes got shoes i got paint sets) and got a brand new harley paint set for Deuce.Got it listed here in the softtail classified's w/ pics attic is next

The people at my shop must love me. First I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy and Arlen Ness from them our finish my bike, then I decide to finish it and ask a millions questinos, now I'm waiting for the parts to come any day now and schedule the mock up and select paint. Watch the day I leave for Florida for 9 days the parts will come in that first day. Just my luck!

black spokes
Hey everyone - been following along for a long time now, but never posted. I'm thinking of taking the plunge w/ a fat tire kit. No, not the same questions... Going with the PM kit. I'm gonna change the fenders anyway, so what's another few grand . I'm looking at either a set of billet wheels or going with black powder coated rims w/ stainless spokes. Wondering if anyone has this or pics of this (powder coated). If I can put it all together, I'll have a set of HD 6 spoke chrome wheels w/ tires and pully for sale. Put them on last season. They have about a thousand miles on them (-). thanks....Mike
