I've found some brackets for softails that allow the use of HD hard bags. Has anyone put hard bags on their springer? I'd like to see some pictures before I start buying parts.
Thought you guys might be interested in this, started life as a Nightrain, customised by a local Harley Dealership for its owner who as far as I know has never ridden it, it's now up for sale for Ł35,000, nice bike but a bit overpriced.

The motor is still the Evo 80", with HC heads, a cam, and ignition module. Mukuni 42 carb, Python 3 pipes. The tank is a 5 gallon fat bob, and I narrowed the belt and pulley to allow a 160 rear tire. Extended lower controls, custom paint, 12" bars, lowered rear 1" (shocks), trimmer blinker assemblies front and rear and slash tail light.
This bike had been by daily transportation and even my touring bike until I got my Ultra in '06. Then I started changing out things. Over the years I've gotten to know every nut and wire on the entire machine. Now I ride it to work a couple of times a week, and on local rides. As we've gotten older, my buddies have all switched out to sport touring bikes, Hondas, Beemers. Not me. I can still hang with them in the twisties, believe it or not.
