Its your bike and you can do anything you like with it. I just like that look and color. It "fits" a springer much better than any of the metal flake, candy coated air brushed bikes I have seen at shows. They are nice to look at with stock or inverted forks, but it just doesn't do it for me with a springer front end.
Not sure I can explain it any better than IMHO, its like putting a $10,000 candy apple red flamed paint job on a stock model T, it may be a great paint job, but it just doesn't "fit".
I still think you should get the braided lines for everything, rear brake included. I'm just saving my money to do it to mine. Should look nice agains't all the black.
I hope you guys won't mind an intrusion from a Dyna owner in here. I've been jealous of you guys for some time. I fell in love with the Street Bob and when I bought the bike last year, it was a goal to eventually "springerize" it. I got lucky on finding what I needed and was able to make it happen sooner than I thought. It didn't work without some modifications, but it was well worth the effort. I love the look, I love the ride and there is NO doubt that more people look at this bike. Even little kids and people that probably know nothing about motorcycles have been looking and staring a LOT more.
There are some awesome looking bikes in here. I hope I can be the "adopted kid" of this group because I'll be checking this thread and other springer related threads in the softail section on a regular basis.

Here is a link to a thread about it in the Dyna section: Springer thread
And here are some pictures (I still need to get that fender repainted):

Outstanding Street Bob (Springer) looks great. Nice job!
Where did you find the "Bad Boy" Front Caliper?
Thanks! The entire front end was off of a 1996 Bad Boy. I am using an Arlen Ness top clamp that allows standard risers so I could reuse my bars and controls. I also used some aftermarket blinker mounts so I could keep my blinkers. But everything else is the stock Bad Boy goods. I was fortunate that I had the same 9/16" master cylinder as the Bad Boy so I was able to use the entire brake setup.
Nice rig. Im new to down loading and figuring out how to show my pics. Do you have any tips! sorry about any doubles. To see pics. click on atachments then click on the files.
I just wanted to say that I feel the same way I love my springer! Ihave found that the cvo springers only 2500 world wide.
