Well my 1947 FL tank emblems have arried, I'll be putting them on on Sunday or Monday depending if I take a spin down to Gettysburg again ( live 17 miles away). I will post pics when the job is complete. They should look great when their on!
They also come with the tank trim that runs horizontally and the backing plate and adhesive.
Compared to the ones we currently have now they aremuch larger! and they will sit midway back on the tank i.e. centered. The emblems we currently have are somewhat foward of the center from front to back.
Here are some pics so you can get a feel on the difference.
What kind of bars are these? I am looking for a set of bars for my 05 Springer Classic that has more pullback than the stock bars. Don't really want to go ape, but I'm having a hard time finding bars that have big time pullback. Lots of really wide beach bars out there, but they don't seem to have the pullback I need.
These bars look like they'd be perfect. What a great looking bike!
I promise I'll be posting my pics soon!
