Anyone got anything planned for this weekend? I would like to get a few miles in. Maybe a shorter ride one day this weekend. I have all the parts in now for my 1k service and will be doing that this weekend at some point.
I thought it was supposed to rain again this weekend...? You must really enjoy cleaning that bike! I think Mrs. Live2Ride and I are gonna keep the bikes in the garage. Sunday, we're dropping them off at the dealership. She's getting her 1k service and getting the bike Dyno'd. I'm getting my 5k service, a new front tire, and getting mine Dyno'd as well. We lowered her's with some 11" Progressive shocks a couple days ago. She touches much better on it now, so riding it should be a little easier for her. I'm jealous because I want my bike to sit as low as her's does. It looks awesome with the rear tire completely tucked under the rear fender. Anyway, we should be ready to ride again next weekend assuming the weather will be nice.
next weekend is out for me. I will be FFF. (Forced Family Fun) My wife has planned a relaxing 4 day weekend at Seabrook Island for us. I get the feeling all I am going to do is miss my bike. And no, you can't take the bike on the island.[:@]
I'm sure you'll have a good time on your vacation. You probably won't really think about the bike too much while you're out there. You'll start thinking about it when you're on your trip back home. Then you'll be anxious to get back in the saddle.

Those are the sames ones I'm going to put on the Bob. She really like them, huh? How is the ride?
Well, I should get the bike back temporarily tomorrow around lunch. There has been a whole fiasco mainly due to UPS so I am getting a tune by hand and when the dyno is back in, I will take it back for the Dyno tune.
Simcom, I am going to pick up the scoot now of course it will take about an hour to get there as the place is in cowpens. I have a call into ****** to see what he is doing but it looks like he is in the poker run. If you want, give me a call (won't be near the computer obviously) and tell me when / where you would like to ride since I don't really have any plans at the moment. There is only a 20% chance of rain today, so we should be good.
I had to order my redline online. The redline website has a shop in Mauldin listed but when I checked w/ them they didn't carry it anymore.

She rode with them for the first time today. We went ahead and took the bikes up to the dealership in hopes that maybe they get started early on them. I asked her if she could tell a difference between them, and she said while she's riding, she couldn't feel a thing. Meaning she couldn't feel any bumps or anything in the road. They were much smoother for her. They also lowered the bike quite a bit. She could touch pretty good before we put that Mustang seat on her bike. After putting that seat on, it raised her up about another inch or possibly a little more. For her to be flat-footed, she was practically standing up. Now she says she's lower than when the bike was stock even with that seat. So it sounds to me like they're a great buy. And they only took about 15-20 minutes to install. I read the instructions and they pretty much used more words to say, "Take off old shocks, and install new shocks." That's all there was to it. I say go for it. Your bike would look awesome with 'em.
