I think we're gonna skip the Harrah's leg of the trip, and head back this way after Wheels Through Time. We'll make Harrah's a trip for another day. So I guess a few of us will split up after the museum.
We made it homeok a little wet but ok. Charles you want to send the pic's through pm or send me your e-mail address and I'll send them there. Mine is rdclmc@bellsouth.net . Enjoyed it have to do it again some time ,maybe we might make it to the museum next time.
We made it home alright as well. I hope to make it to the museum next time. Next time we need to just head straight there. No stoppin' for lunch. We got rained on a little hit as well. I was thinking that my sister must have been the cause for the rain, but if you guys caught it too, it must still be my sister and Simcom that bring the wetness. One of these days, we'll stay dry for an entire trip. Even though we didn't make our destination, I still had fun. I always have a blast ridin' the twisties. It was nice meetin' ya Critter.
Made it home safe and sound and soggy. Dropped Mrs. Simcom at her cage to bring the litlle Simcoms home and hit the SS and locked the cruise on 70. Man, does that bike stick at higher speeds. Y'all should have went with us. We found Lummus HD about 5 miles from where we split up. It was a pretty nice place, but they had little to no Tshirts. I had a ball today. I don't really care about going somewhere to do other stuff....I would just as soon ride the bike.....Oh we stopped by the campground Chuck is always at. Met the owner Phil. Really nice guy. He said Chuck was at the dealership and was gonna come back with a new bike or blood on his clothes. His Ultra broke and it seems they have been giving him grief about the warranty.
Sorry I missed you guys, I ended up doing the BRP up there and didn't leave Blowing Rock until 11am (..late night. I hope to meet you guys at one of the meet and greets.
Yeah it was a great trip all in all. I'm more interested in the ride than what happens at the destination.
It was great meeting those of you that I hadn't met before, and great seeing the ones I'd already met again. There's just something about rumbling down the road in a group of eight Harleys that gets my blood pumping! The only thing that could have made it better is if the War Department had been able to come along. Hopefully next time.

Nah I'll just download them from here.
(You know you can create an album on here right?) I have some pics I took on my phone, I'll upload them here pretty soon. Dang I need to lose some weight!
I'm glad to see that everyone made it back alright. I thoroughly enjoyed coming back over Caesar's Head. I got in a group with 3 sport bikes, and we made it down in very quick time. The Bob handled great!!
