FYI- there is an oceanfront Days Inn at Surfside that usually has pretty good rates and there are 2 bars within crawling distance! One is across the street and the other just next door! Not on Ocean Blvd. but believe me, we were able to watch LOTS of craziness all night long! They also have covered parking under the hotel. Great restaurant, Nibils, on the pier next door, too!

robin we stayed at the cabana shores a couple yrs ago its up north out of the "riding area " and off the strip unlessthats where you want to stay.lots more rooms on the strip and good prices for the fall rally. we stayed last year at cabana inn and staying there again this year 4 nites is like $119 with tax

We are back from the beach and however due to the CROWD this weekend ... I only jotted down names of places so I could call them this week. It was to much to run in and out of each one.
I will see which has the best rates and get back to you all soon.
We never found the Cabana place though so I am assuming it was further North than I personally would want to be.I did see the Days Inn you were talking about HarleyGal. We actually stayed right down from it this weekend in the Condo we always use and walked out on the Pier. Nibils was smelling GOOOOOOD to.
Oh and for you Mr.Heavy Mouth...I mean Metal........ I have you to know...I did not collect any beads at all from the Spring Rally. As a matter of fact Mark told me I was a prude since I wouldn't show some skin for anybody.Soooo what are you trying to say.....I am a cheap hootchie....????????
I ..........only do it for REAL jewlery or ...........atleast a cold drink.

From what I'm hearing from you, and someone else who's stayed there before, I'm probably going to end up changing my reservations from Cabana Shores to something different. We really want to be fairly close to the action, and within walking distance to some drinking establishments!So if you end up getting a block of rooms somewhere, please let me know, and we might take one. I'll be keeping my eyes open as well! In fact, if you'll let me know how many rooms you're looking for (I know you're interested in a place possibly with a conference room), as well as a general vicinity, I'll try to help find a place.Thanks for checking!

As for the conference room.......that's not a big deal. We can just all meet up somewhere else.
let me know what you find as well. To heads are better than one and if any one knows of a good place let us know and we will check it out as well.

So, still haven't gotten any feedback on the Coral Beach resort. I guess they asked my buddy if we were staying for bike week festivities and they were cool with it. But if you block off a bunch of room somewhere, I'm sure I can strongarm the fellas to changing the reservations.
