It varies...the week nights are cheaper than the weekends. The rate for Tuesday night is $49, Wednesday and Thursday are $75 a night, and Friday and Saturday are $85 a night. We're in a non-oceanview room with 2 queen beds and a private balcony. The rate also depends on what type of room you get.
Snort called me Friday and has found us a place a$69 a night plus they will have parking for trailers and so on. He was going to go ahead and set up a block of rooms for us. I will find out more info when he gets back from the beach.
I have been trying to plan what days I would stay during bike week, and checking the thread to see where everybody is staying. I woke up this morning, and it hit me. My daughter's birthday is that Saturday the 6th.
I will still ride down for one nights stay, or atleast ride down and hang around Friday.
I have rode to MB twice just for the day, and it's a nice ride all back roads.
Well, the Bar Harbor isn't too awfully far from the Best Western. Much as I hate to say it, I'm gonna have to have the internet access that week. Man, I can't wait till I'm finished with school. But it's close enough, and I can meet up with you guys somewhere!
