Anyone going?, heve never been able to make it but will be going tonight, you know since it's only 100 FKNdegrees out. Should be pulling out of Fort Mill around 7ish, if you wanna ride or meet let me know, we will be going either 77 to 85 or 77 to 485 to 85 (dont know a back way that's not all lights)
I was not down for a sizzle tonight either so took a pass on the QSL bike night. Maybe next week at Kristophers again if the temp comes down a little. I don't know about you all, but riding to work even with no jacket produced a sweat soaked shirt! Not a good thing in the office.
After working outside in the heat all day I was needin' some extended AC!
I did take a ride around the block to test out my new Stage I upgrade, AN Big Sucker, Rineharts, and SERT.
More power and volume!
Did you get it Dyno'd Snort? What kind of numbers did you get? If you haven't had it Dyno'd... I know of a place that charges 65hr. I don't know what the average is. After a 115.00hr quote I got elsewhere... I was all over the 65hr. lol.. These guys do an awesome job. They even detailed my bike for free. When I got there to pick up my bike... I asked the guy, "Who put white walls on my bike?!?!?" lol..
Dyno results
stock 65.97 hp 83.44 fpt
after Stage I 78.26 hp 90.88 fpt
It feels great and sounds better!
I took it to Carolina HD and have got to say they did me right. $68.00/hr dyno and shop time. I had them install my Big Sucker and a pass. backrest and luggage rack that I alreadyhadand then bought the pipes and SERT from them. I got 10% off on their parts. They charged me 1/2 hr each for the pipes and air cleaner and then2 hrs for the backrest. Dyno time was 5 hr minimum for baseline and then tuning. I'm sure it probably didn't take all of 5 hours for the simple setup that I have but I knew going in what it was going to be.
I had the PCIII installed in mine with SE 1 AC and drag piped exhaust and I got : 72.28hp - 77.33 tq.
It's not much when compared to yours but these are good numbers for stock 88. Especially with drag pipes. There couldn't be a worse exhaust setup for a stocker. lol.. I'll work on ponies a little more once I get done with the looks department. Next thing on my list is a 21" front wheel, front fender, mini apes, custom paint. I'm done. lol.. So I think...
