Happy Memorial Day. Spent a great day Sunday participating in the run to the wall...demonstration ride, becoming more and more important every year as we all have known or know of someone who is either missing and betrayed or has sacrificed themselves while serving honorably for our country so that we can enjoy our lifestyle and motorcycles. I, like many on here have lost several close brothers this last year; much respect to them for all they have done and to what we all continue to do. Semper Fidelis.

I've been to the wall but not on the bike and not on this day. Must be a great experience. 1st Air Cavalry, Vietnam, 1966/67 and still riding.

Went to the wall up here in Olympia, WA with about 200 others on bikes. Good to see both past and present out enjoying their day and paying respects.

I have several close buddies that I served with on the wall, and have gone to Rolling Thunder 4 times. I was hoping to go this year but the clutch delivery problem held me up. Next year.

I just got home. I go every year......As a Vietnam Vet I feel compelled to go. It is so important to remember our fallen and lost brothers and sisters, and to find the ones we can ,and bring them home. That is what Rolling Thunder is telling us. Something that is an added bonus for me and all the Vietnam Vets are the people, run participants and supporters. It is such a good thing that the people now support our troops 100%. I remember a time when that was not the case. Americans hurt their own with what was said and done to us when we came home. Rolling Thunder has been instrumental in showing me and all vets that America cares. That is a profound thing for many of us......I used to stay quiet about being a Vet. Now I don't........Rolling Thunder did that for me more than anything else. If there are any Vietnam Vets out there who have not participated in Rolling Thunder....please go, you will come home changed from the experiance

singer- vets from the vietnam era have made the latter vets lives much easier, because of the vietnam veterans we currently have improved healthcare, benefits, wounded warrior regiments and a support structure that barely if at all existed during your time. I have deep respect for all that you and other vietnam veterans have done for us Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.
