LOTS of theads and nice pics about custom 48's, Nightsters, etc. RARELY are there any discussing customizing the not-so-popular SuperLow 883.
However, I'm really interested in doing the custom thing to mine. In fact, living up north where it's a bit colder, I've already prepped it for winter and began dismantling it.
The fenders and covers have been removed and I'm debating the tank as well. All of which are being sent out for custom paint. I ran over something and gashed my rear tire, so a new 170/60 will be coming soon. Some new chrome, rewiring the rear turns into stop/turns, yada yada yada.
What I'd really like to see is some inspiration for the lowly Superlow. Anyone??
Fellow SuperLow owner here, modestly customised. The expression customise can mean different things to each of us! Are you looking for ideas just on appearance, to improve performance, better ride quality? Give us some clues so we can help ya.
Lots of folks have reworked their bikes with off-the-shelf parts, pipes, chrome, etc. And then we get to see the results of their efforts here. It's rare that anyone likes to show off their Superlow with such enhancements. I'm looking for inspiration, but don't find much.
